Dir Quality&Nursing and provides day-to-day leadership of clinical staff. Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and Snr. Dir Quality&Nursing to includ! e representing clinical staff needs to the Snr. Dir Quality&Nursing/providers/facilities as well as Snr. Dir Quality&Nursing/provider/facility needs to the clinical staff in order to ensure successful clinical operation.
Implements processes that will facilitate and improve the team's efforts to manage and improve clinical outcomes for selected patient populations, other PI projects identified within the office.
Complies with and enforces all established WDH/WDPC policies, procedures and protocols as well as any department-specific policies and procedures as they relate to the job functions of the clinical staff.
Acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in nursing professional practice. Applies the educational process to coordinate activities in assigned areas.
Coordinates provider schedules and patient appointments, which includes training clinical staff on the use of the practice management software and maintaining clinical staff knowledge o! f scheduling guidelines as dictated by the providers.
Resp! onsible for, in collaboration with the Snr. Dir Quality&Nursing, HR management including interviewing and selecting clinical candidates for employment.
Leads, plans, attends and actively participates in clinical meetings, provider meetings and hospital-wide committees or meetings as requested.
Works effectively and cooperatively with other members of the team to identify opportunities for improving processes related to the management of the patient population
Maintains clinical supplies and equipment to include overseeing clinical staff member responsible for ordering of medical supplies.
Meets all aspects of office nurse job description and performance standards.
Performs other general duties as assigned or directed.
Description Minimum Required
Experience
3-5 years of medical office experience or equivalent nursing experience in Telemetry, Emergency Department or Medical-Surgery.
Education
RN/AD/BS program/diploma
Training
C! PR BLS qualified
Licensure
NH License
Preferred / Desired
Experience
Experience as clinical leader setting; previous clinical coordinator role or equivalent, preferably with a pulmonary medicine background

Special Skills
Working knowledge of Windows-based word processing programs, Microsoft Office, computers and office machines. Required typing 35 WMP. Knowledge of office procedures and protocols; ability to make effective judgements and decisions based on objective criteria; ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal; ability to give and receive information over the telephone; ability to maintain order in a busy environment; ability to operate independently with minimum supervision; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; ability to tactfully interact with diverse personalities.
