Location: Salem New Hampshire

The Reports Specialist is responsible for producing standard and ad hoc reports as requested by internal business units and clients. A strong background / understanding of Excel and SQL is required. The right candidate should be analytical and have strong problem solving skills. Experience with NextGen and/or Anodyne is a plus. Experience in the healthcare industry is also a plus. Must be able to work with end users and technical contacts. Also. Must be able to work independently.

The essential functions of the position are as follows:

  • Process reports based on specifications and business needs.
  • Interacts both with internal employees and external clients to clarify report requests and determine report specifications.
  • Modifies and / or enhances existing reports, as requested.
  • Perform QA functions to ensure accuracy of report! data.
  • Document all information related to each repor! t generated (code, process to run report, etc.).
  • Maintain and administer collection and storage of data on report server.
The successful candidate must have:
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills.
  • Experience creating / implementing / maintaining reports.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and statistical applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with the Integration Services Microsoft Visual Studio (version 2005).
  • At least 2 years of version 2005 experience with the DTSX script GUI.
  • Experience with creating templates and merging data.
  • Experience integrating Visual Studio and SQL server.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor of Science Degree (preferred) or equivalent business experience Technical program required with course work in business, statistics, or health
