Hunter! Ambrose has been retained by Monadnock Community Hospital to recruit for the position of Director of Organizational Performance. Monadnock Hospital is located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The organization is an award winning hospital and a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital, 2013. MCH had 1,400 admissions, 76,000 outpatient visit s, 13,000 ER visits, 300 births and 200 inpatient surgeries in 2012. MCH offers a full continuum of care and a wide spectrum of specialty care physicians.
Position overview:
The Director of Organizational Performance is a leadership posit ion responsible for evaluating and improving the quality and performance outcomes related to patient care, patient safety, financial responsibility and overall efficiency. The position includes the hospital and outpatient clinics in the scope of responsibility. The position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and works in tandem with senior leadership, physicians and team members. This is an! ideal position for a healthcare focused professional with a s! olid track record in goal achievement.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- The Director of Organizational Performance manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and quality improvement programs are developed and managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvement aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives .
- The organization and scope of the position encompasses inpatient, outpatient and provider based clinics
- Develop and communicate the strategic vision, scope and mission of the Organizational Performance Department assuring that organization-wide performance management and quality improvement initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness
- Participate in organizational strategic planning and provide leadership for PM and QI policy development
- Provide leadership and coordination for improving the organi! zation's core health functions and evaluating the impact of such
- Research and develop PM and QI training programs that focus on enabling workforce to achieve improvements
- Experience with national healthcare accreditation and regulatory surveys
- BS or BSN required (A RN credential is preferred though not required with qualified experience)
- MSN or MHA preferred
- Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma preferred
- Candidates with CPHQ certification are encouraged to apply
- 2+ years of Performance Improvement experience required
- PI experience in an acute care hospita l and outpatient clinic setting is mandatory
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and organization al change theories
- Demonstrate d ability to work successfully across multidisciplinary teams with the ability to communicate effectively
- Track record with performance improve! ment , project management and change management principles
- Ext! ensive data management and presentation skills
- Able to think and perform strategically
- A critical thinker who is passionate about patient care and takes initiative with appropriate input
- Excellent presentation and principle centered coaching skills
- EMR experience required- e Clinical and Paragon knowledgebase preferred

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is 73 â€" 110k and is based on years of Performance Improvement experience in a healthcare setting. Relocation assistance, ( reimbursed with IRS approved receipts ) is available and based on total relocation distance.
