Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician needed in a eastern New Hampshire outpatient facility for a June start. This job opportunity offers a part-time schedule with flexible shifts. The provider must be well-versed in an outpatient setting.
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
Required Qualifications
NH licensed Internal Medicine or Family Practice (OUTPA! TIENT) physician needed 06/03 - Ongoing -. SCHEDULE: 1 x day a! week: 8hr day. (Client Flexible) - No call 1st Shift: 7: 00 am- 3:30 pm/ 8:00 am- 4:30 pm...2nd Shift: 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm. Client also open to scheduling an 8 hour day or (2) 4 hours day.
There will be 20-25ppd, 100% adult patients and 100% Scheduled patients seen. Typical Cases Seen: Sick visits, Hypertension, Diabetics, physicals, and chronic illnesses. Support Staff: RN's, NP's, clinical staff, security
