Job Summary
Job Summary -
Applicants should only apply if able to work in our NASHUA, NH office location. This is not a remote position.
The purpose and objective of this position is to accurately review and post medical and surgical billing codes provided by each physician for correct billing and entry into the system for processing of medical claims.
- Daily posting of medical, surgical and hospital services
- Review of information provided by the physicians to assure accurate and correct billing for stated procedures performed by each physician.
- Collection of individual patient information needed for processing of services provided by our physicians when the physician has seen a patient on an emergent basis or is on call.
- Contact the individual hospitals or the patient for this information.
- Accurate filing of all information pertaining to each individual surgery and visit.
- Maintaining working knowledge of current changes and new additions to the CPT billing manual and knowledge of changes that take place within individual insurance companies that may affect the processing of related claims.
Must be a certified professional coder with medical billing experience.

Must be a CPC
Must be willing to work in the Nashua, NH office full time
Qualifications and Skills
minimum 3-5 years of experience in surgical orthopaedic coding
