MCSR is a DC-based nonprofit mobilizing boys and men to promote healthy masculinity and its positive impact in the prosocial development of better human beings. For 25 years and counting, we've role modeled the knowledge, skills, and abilities that increase character, leadership, compassion, integrity, discipline, and consistency. Built on a foundation of love, and in tandem with training and transformational mentorship, we support boys and young men who are strong without being violent and are accountable to unlocking the ripple effect of positive outcomes for all.
The Administrative Assistant, under the direction of the Deputy Director and Executive Director, will ensure that MCSR’s office operates efficiently and effectively by providing support to other staff through the following duties.

Operations and Procedures
- Coordinate mailings
Maintain office calendar
Provide support to staff for copying, faxing, and mailing
Prepare credit card expense reports for review
Assist with the review and development of administrative procedures to facilitate the smooth operation of the workplace
Contact and Communications
Answer the main phone
Check and sort mail
Respond to information requests
Prepare and submit acknowledgment letters to donors and funders
Receive visitors to the office
Coordinate maintenance, support, and communication with vendors/contractors
Attend staff meetings
Clerical and Development
Provide support to staff for copying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
Prepare orders for material sales
Purchase and maintain stock of office supplies and materials
Review Consultant and staff timesheets
Deliver deposits
Make travel arrangements as needed
Provide meeting support as needed (e.g., scheduling, coordinating food, logistics, etc.)
Coordinate logistics for special events
Other duties as assigned
