Auto CAD Summer Student (Facilities Services)
The Niagara Catholic District School Board invites applications for the position of Auto CAD Student with our Facilities Services Department for the 2023 summer season.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Provide Auto CAD and technical support to the Facilities Services department
Editing and updating NCDSB drawings
Compile base plan drawing information using survey data, historical and permit information
Perform site visits as required
Assist other areas of the Facilities Services Team as required
WHAT YOU BRING:
Currently enrolled in Post-Secondary Education with a focus on Auto CAD software
Experience working with Auto CAD or equivalent software
Prior experience in inspection, survey or utilizing Auto CAD software would be considered an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft office products including Word and Excel
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic)
Demonstrate responsible behavior at all times and maintain high ethical standards
Participate actively in a team for organizational effectiveness. Create an atmosphere of trust amongst all team members
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Valid Class “G” Driver’s License with access to vehicle
This is a full-time summer position beginning in May and ending August 31, 2023.
HOURS:
Daily 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
LOCATIONS: Catholic Education Centre
RATE OF PAY: $15.50 per hour
