Our exceptional cardiac critical care units distinguish themselves not only by the high level of care they offer, but also by the outstanding team dynamic enjoyed by the staff. Our Cardiovascular Critical Care is a 10-bed unit providing highly specialized, technologically advanced care to adult, critically ill, cardiac patients. Our patient population includes; immediate recovery of cardiothoracic surgical patients, complicated MI's with intervention, heart failure, and EP patients. Primary focus of this position is the Cardio-Thoracic patients. Our nurses are the core of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary patient care team. As a member of this cardiac care team, you will assess, plan, organize, provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process. In addition to making nursing judgments and decisions and will be responsible for nursing care and documentation. This is a full-time position, 36 hours per week, Day/Night rotation, every other weekend, and occasional on-call shifts. Our multi-functional 24-hour support staff compliment our close-knit nursing team. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, a minimum of 1 year acute care experience with current NH registered nurse licensure required.
