Description: D-H Lebanon DHMC Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital is currently interviewing Endoscopy Technician right now, this vacancy will be placed in New Hampshire. An exciting career opportunity is available for a Support Tech in our Endoscopy Center, this busy unit performs over 10,000 procedures annually. You will a! ssist with care of patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures, to save patients from more invasive type of surgery. Our varied procedures include: colonoscopy, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, biliary work, removal of gall stones, and dilating pancreatic ducts. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the nurse and physicians with patient care during the procedures as well as reprocessing equipment maintaining a clean, safe environment for patient care with all necessary equipment readily available in good working order.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school graduate with previous health care experience preferred. Must obtain Heartsaver AED certification within six months of employment. Must possess the ability to anticipate, prioritize, and coordinate work. Must function independently, as well as a member of a team in a high stress environment. Excellent verbal communication skills required.
