Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with s ome additional training beyond high s! chool, but less than an Associates Degree.
Experience: One year medical office experience and/or training preferred. Experience with Medical and Surgical Terminology and automated scheduling systems required.
Responsibilities: Schedules operative and/or invasive procedure appointments for multiple hospital departments. The Perioperative Scheduler will work collaboratively with medical office personnel, surgeons and hospital staff in order to ensure timely access to services.
