Day / Night rotation; 7:00am - 7:30pm/ 7pm - 7:30am with rotating weekend and holidays
Full time position! on the Adult Surgical Unit. This position is three 12 hour shifts; day/night rotation and will assess, plan, organize, provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process. You will also make nursing judgments and decisions and assume responsibility for nursing care and documentation. 2 West Inpatient Surgery Unit - 12 beds
Typical patients include those who have had surgical interventions for cancer. Examples of these surgeries include: Whipples, Colectomies, Gastrectomies, Neo Bladders, Prostatectomies and Mastectomies. 2 West has a nurse/patient ratio of 4:1. This allows the unit to maintain high patient satisfaction scores regarding the care given to each patient. The Unit’s focus is to deliver patient and family centered care as a collaborative team.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, a mi! nimum of 1 year acute care experience with current NH register! ed nurse licensure required.
