The Director, US Marketing (Director) is a newly created position that reports to the Sr. Director, US Sales and Global Marketing.
The Director is res! ponsible for leading the US marketing team to develop and execute marketing and communication plans for NovoTTF Therapy. The position will also work closely with the US Business Team and other cross functional partners to devise strategies for growth and profitability.
The position is located in Portsmouth, NH at the company’s US Operations Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead US Marketing team to achieve key strategies and operational plans to support sales growth and overall brand equity
- Deliver an integrated strategic and tactical plan on an annual basis
- Align brand positioning, messaging and key strategies working closely with regional marketing counterparts
- Deliver an external communication plan (such as Brand PR Plan, Social Media Plan, etc.) to increase awareness, adoption and growth of NovoTTF Therapy
- Build stalwart relationships with key customers such as neuro oncologists, radia! tion oncologists, as well as large community oncology practice! s
- Develop a ROI measurement plan to assess impact of key tactics on sales growth when appropriate
- Develop a brand dashboard highlighting key performance indicators and other relevant metrics
- Apply creativity, innovation and out of box thinking to solve complex business and marketplace issues
- Optimize annual brand budget and other resources
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities and mentorship to direct reports
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in a Science or Business major from a recognized University program; an MBA would be an asset
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years in oncology brand management or strategic marketing. Recent experience in the neuro-oncology /neuro-surgery market desirable
- Past experience in launching products, adapting to the evolving marketing and communications needs of a fast-paced and growing company
- Proven ability to work ! independently as well as strong collaborative ability to work with cross functional teams
- Cross-functional competence with a proven ability to multi-task numerous responsibilities and to interact effectively within a virtual matrix with other key departments
- Proven track record of managing diverse teams
- Inherent sense of accountability for results
- Fiscally responsible
- Ability to prioritize and set measurable objectives
- Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees
- High energy, creativity, aptitude for handling multiple tasks concurrently, and timely knowledge of industry news and trends
