$ads={1}As an Outsourcing Specialist in our European HQ in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for setting up and implementing the outsourcing oversight framework for Convera Europe Financial SA (“CEF”) ensuring a strong level of oversight and due diligence is in place across all critical outsourcing arrangements, both external and internal. You will also support the business units in their duties with regards to services outsourced by CEF and secure a harmonized first and second line of defense approach across the different business owners within the area of its responsibility, including the set-up of standards with respect to performance indicators and its monitoring as well as the coordination of outsourcing relationship including outsourcing risk assessment.
You will be responsible for:
- Regular review of the outsourcing framework.
- Maintaining a full suite of oversight documentation, including the maintenance of the outsourcing register, criticality or importance assessments, outsourcing risk assessments, service provider due diligence and ensuring agreements and SLAs are up to date and compliant with regulatory requirement.
- Notifications to competent authorities where required as well as interacting with relevant regulators on all matters related to outsourcing oversight.
- Working closely with business owners, providing advice and technical support on oversight activities, including the completion of outsourcing risk assessments and due diligence questionnaires.
- Managing the internal monitoring and oversight process, including collating data, challenging service recipients, identifying improvements, tracking actions to completion and reporting to the relevant governance forums.
- Preparing reports and dashboards for management on service levels and outsourcing risk assessments and adherence to oversight plan.
- Identifying potential operational risks connected to outsourced services
- Identifying opportunities for strengthening of internal controls in critical outsourcing activities.
- Ensuring an integrated approach in overseeing outsourcing arrangements, working closely with Legal, Risk & Compliance, Tax, Data Privacy and Security teams etc.
- Previous experience in outsourcing oversight, risk management, internal controls, compliance or internal audit.
- An academic background in Law, Finance or Business (or equivalent) or relevant professional qualifications or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of EBA Outsourcing Guidelines and relevant general regulation requirements (PSD, MiFID, etc.) as well as specific regulations in the European Union (internal controls, operational risk etc.) strongly preferred
- Knowledge and experience in the area of payment/banking services and processes would be an advantage
- Good organization skills to foster the collaboration with diverse company departments
- Professional in communication with local and international regulators
- Ability to work in a changing environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently in a structured and analytical way and willing to assume responsibility
- Excellent computing skills with all common office programs
- Fluency in English (oral and in writing) = essential; additional languages are a bonus
